Once we know that dengue fever is caused by the bite of aedes mosquito that left a virus in our bodies. These mosquitoes breed in stagnant water. as additional knowledge for us here are the characteristics of the dengue fever mosquito (Aedes aegypty) which transmit the dengue disease in humans.

Signs of Dengue Fever

Basically signs of dengue fever is start with fever within 6 to 7days after a person has been bitten by an infected mosquito. Then, the temperature drops rapidly and intense sweating takes place. After about a day with normal temperature and a feeling of well-being, the temperature rises abruptly again. Rashes (small red bumps) show up on the arms, legs and the entire body simultaneously along with fever. However, rashes rarely occur on the face. The palms of the hands and soles of the feet may be swollen and bright red. that's the early signs of dengue fever.

What is Dengue Haemorrhagic Fever (DHF)
